Is EZPD a password manager?
No, EZPD is not a password manager. It does not store your passwords in a file or remote location.
If not, what is EZPD?
EZPD uses a proprietary unique password generation and regeneration technology. It regenerates the same password on demand to access a password protected file, or log in to an internet account. Since it does not store your passwords, it is secure.
Can I use EZPD in any device?
Yes, you can.
Can anyone reproduce my passwords from their account?
No, no one can reproduce your passwords, EZPD passwords are unique to each user.
Can I customize my passwords according to password rules?
Yes, you can.
What if my account does not allow certain special characters?
EZPD is designed to customize passwords to meet requirements of password rules. You can select to exclude or include certain special characters, or only alpha-numeric values.
Can I share passwords with friends, family members or any group?
Yes, you can with an upgraded plan.
What is a Group Manager?
Any user who creates a Group name becomes its Group manager. Group manager can invite members in Professional plan to join the Group and share passwords.
Group Manger can be changed?
Yes.
What are special characters?
Special characters are non-alphabetic or non-numeric characters. For example: @, #, $, %, &, *, :, ;, (, ), {, }, [, } and +.
What does it mean to store a password?
Storing a password means a site keeps your password somewhere on their server. Whether the site encrypts their data or not, stored passwords are vulnerable to hackers. Unlike other password managers, EZPD does not store your passwords anywhere.
Can I view my EZPD generated passwords?
Once you generate or regenerate your password, you can view your password either by hovering cursor over EZPD logo in the app or pasting (press “Ctrl” and “v” or "Cmd" "v") in a text file.
How to create a strong password?
Strong passwords are long and mixed with special, alphabetic and numeric characters and use both upper and lower-case characters.
How many Groups can users create or join?
Users can create or join up to 10 Groups.
How to join a Group?
Any user can join a Group after Group Manager invites the user to join the Group.
